UPDATE: (June 7, 2005)  Thank you all for all your care and concern. Chana had a transplant by a generous donor. We will keep you posted.

Chana was born with a rare medical
condition. Her sole kidney malfunctioned
at birth. She has been on dialysis for most
of her life.

Recently, she went into end-stage renal
failure. Chana’s doctors have told her
parents that her best hope for survival is
a live-donor kidney transplant.

Are you willing to donate a kidney
to help save a child’s life?

Healthy people are born with two kidneys, but can lead a normal life with only one. If you are in good health, between the ages of 18 and 60, and have type O blood...

You can be Chana’s hero!

Pikuach nefesh,
saving a life, is one of the most important concepts in Jewish life.
You have the opportunity to save a child’s life and restore her to health.

Testing is free and all donor medical expenses will be covered.
